Favorite Fresh Juice Combinations

Cheryl Cope Posted on March 29, 2011 by Cheryl CopeMarch 6, 2021

Favorite Fresh Juice Combinations

I am sharing some of my favorite fresh juice combinations. Most of them are vegetable juices for a very good reason. Even though fresh fruit juice is better than canned fruit juice, in that it has live enzymes, it is still a “rush” of fructose to your system, and therefore can raise your blood sugar levels beyond what most people need.

Faith—Do You Have Any?

Cheryl Cope Posted on March 28, 2011 by Cheryl CopeMarch 6, 2021

Faith—Do You Have Any?

O.K., that was almost a trick question! We all have faith in something. It really is more a matter of in what or in whom do we place our faith. So the real question is, where do you place your faith?

Do you have faith in karma? In the goodness of the universe? In the law of attraction? Do you have faith in working hard? In pulling yourself up with your bootstraps? Do you have faith in superstition or “luck”? Do you have faith in the government or in welfare? Do you have faith in the church? In your family? In your friends? Do you have faith in having faith? In prayer? In the Bible?

Bankruptcy of Our Nation by Jerry Robinson

Bankruptcy of Our Nation by Jerry Robinson

Even though this book was published in 2009, I believe it is still very “timely”. I found most of it to be very enlightening. Quite a bit of the information this book contained was new to me, but there was enough in it that I knew to be true beforehand, that made me believe it (as well as the well-documented footnotes).

Ways to “Spice” up Your Vegetables

Cheryl Cope Posted on March 24, 2011 by Cheryl CopeMarch 6, 2021

Ways to “Spice” up Your Vegetables

Sometimes vegetables can taste bland, especially if you keep trying to eat the same ones over and over. First, I would recommend that you try some new vegetables. When was the last time you had eggplant, parsnips or mustard greens?

Following Tragedy

Cheryl Cope Posted on March 23, 2011 by Cheryl CopeMarch 6, 2021

We watch in awe the people of Japan these past weeks. It appears that the faith or philosophy practiced in Japan is less ego-centric, and more other-centered than we are used to. WE are not the center of the world. We are only a part of a great whole. Perhaps this is why we see no looting, and while waiting for their allotment of water, food or other distributions from human service agencies – the Japanese actually stay within serpentine-like chalk-drawn lines on the pavement. Nothing is forcing them to be civil. They just are – even amidst the heartache they are feeling.

Importance of Faith

Cheryl Cope Posted on March 21, 2011 by Cheryl CopeMarch 6, 2021

Faith Pleases God

We cannot please God without faith.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb. 11:6 KJV

Mix and Match Stir Fry

Cheryl Cope Posted on March 19, 2011 by Cheryl CopeMarch 6, 2021

Mix and Match Stir Fry

Stir Fries are fast, easy, versatile and healthy. That’s why they are one of my favorite dinners to make. If you are on a weight loss diet or don’t handle grains or carbs well, skip the rice and chow mein noodles.
