What a lovely idea – thanks for sharing
You’re welcome. I hope you’ll give it a try.
What a fab way to while away a few hours. I always wanted to make my own deck of cards.
It keeps me focused on God *while* I’m making them AND while I’m using them!
Every year, our youth group makes goodies for shut-ins (cookies, bars, snack mixes, etc). These would be perfect to slip into each package. Thank you for the idea!
That’s a great idea!! I used to make something a little different that I called “blessing cards”. I may make more of those and post about it.
Simple, beautiful, personal …
What a great idea!
Would add a lot to memory verse cards and
other formats like bookmarks or greeting cards,
I am actually thinking of making some bookmarks sort of like this…thanks for that idea.
Thanks for reminding me of something I’d been planning to do! And for these creative examples. I sponsor a child through Worldvision who lives in Peru and speaks Spanish. I send her little gifts like stickers, bookmarks, postcards, etc. Well,I’d thought of doing something with Bible verses – such as these you share. I like rubberstamping so I’ll likely use them. And it is easy enough to find the Bible verses I want in Spanish online (biblegateway).
Yes, rubberstamping is just as easy to do!! I hope your child from worldvision enjoys them!
What a GREAT idea! I have a ministry page and I am always posting scriptures! When I saw this, not only am I going to share it on my page, but I said WOW what a fun activity to do with my kids! Thanks for the GREAT idea!
Yes, and couldn’t simpler or less expensive either! Have fun!
Cheryl — just LOVE this idea! I’m definitely passing it on to clients and friends. Even those of us who aren’t the drawing/artistic type, could benefit from this lovely meditative project.
You’re welcome. That’s the thing it’s so easy and unintimidating because most people have experience with index and markers!
