Book Review: Identity and Destiny by Tom and Pam Wolf
Book Review: Identity and Destiny by Tom and Pam Wolf
7 Steps To A Purpose-Filled Life. A step by step guide to discover your God-given purpose. You do the steps—God does the rest.
This workbook contains a lot of really good life purpose exercises. I doubt they left anything out. It is chock full of really good stuff.
Most of the exercises (personality typing, values, spiritual gifts etc.) I’ve seen before and are contained in most life purpose programs. Nothing new here but still all of these were needed to be a complete program. If you’ve never done any life purpose exercises this will all be new to you and extremely beneficial. For others the review may prove helpful as well.
The very best part of this program is the last part and something I’ve not seen in other life purpose programs (of which I’ve seen a few, being a life coach). They included an extremely useful section, called, The Spiritual Phase, which includes “steps” 5-7. This section will help anyone be able to identify God’s voice more clearly and talks about dreams, prayer and meditation. It goes on to include specific spiritual exercises, specific questions to ask God (which were fantastic) and at the very end, how to put it all together.
To sum up, the beginning was a little ho-hum, but the end was superb, definitely worth the small price for the workbook.
Although most life coaches (including me) would be able to help you go through this workbook, the authors have been training up licensed facilitators specifically to help people go through this book. You can find them here: http://identityanddestiny.com/find-a-coach/
