Art: More Praise Cards part 3
Art: More Praise Cards part 3
I actually use them to praise God. I put them inside a photo album that holds over 100 4×6 photos. I flip through the pages and read the praise verses out loud to God in my morning devotional time. I like reading the scriptures off of the colored index cards much better than just a 9×11 typed sheet of paper, which is what I was using before.
Simply made from ordinary 4×6 index cards. Cheap. Non-intimidating. And markers—again, cheap and non-intimidating.
Purpose in making: to exercise my creativity in doodling, to meditate on scripture while I’m doodling, and to use the finished cards in praise. Not necessarily trying to make them “beautiful”, but if they ended up pretty that was a bonus! Was an easy and inexpensive way to experiment with different color combinations, too.
