Bankruptcy of Our Nation by Jerry Robinson
Bankruptcy of Our Nation by Jerry Robinson
Even though this book was published in 2009, I believe it is still very “timely”. I found most of it to be very enlightening. Quite a bit of the information this book contained was new to me, but there was enough in it that I knew to be true beforehand, that made me believe it (as well as the well-documented footnotes).
If you are interested in learning the true financial state of the United States then this book is for you. Find out who really owns America (America’s debt). Find out the connection between the American dollar and oil. Learn what a petrodollar is. Learn how the Federal Reserve came to be into existence, its’ real purpose and how it operates.
Even though Jerry Robinson painted a somewhat grim picture of America’s financial future he did not leave the reader hopeless. He included well-thought-out suggestions to help you in personally managing the coming financial turmoil. I would advise the reader to not skip ahead to the suggestions without reading the whole book, as the suggestions will not be nearly as meaningful with the background behind them.
The author also included suggestions for further reading. Overall I found this book to be interesting and enlightening and is recommended for anyone interested in money, banking, and America’s government.
