Book Review: Declutter Now! by Lindon & Sherry Gareis
Book Review: Declutter Now! by Lindon & Sherry Gareis
This is not your typical how to declutter book. There are two things that make it unique. The first thing is that God is brought into the equation. Scriptures and godly principles are woven throughout the entire book. They are not merely “tacked on” either.
Secondly, this book is not just about decluttering stuff. No, it is about decluttering every area of your life, including your relationships, finances, career, parenting, physical health care, thought life, and yes, your stuff.
I found the authors’ real life stories to be refreshingly authentic and they were aptly placed within the appropriate topic.
There were questions to get you thinking, and even in some ways, some of the ideas were challenging, in a good way.
And instead of overwhelm by so many ideas, I felt hope, that this could actually be done.
Chances are that you have at least one area of your life that is cluttered, in confusion or in overwhelm. If that’s the case, give this book a look! It could be just what you need.
