Leadership Coaching by Tony Stoltzfus
Leadership Coaching by Tony Stoltzfus
I absolutely love this book. I haven’t read every Christian coaching book on the market but of the several that I have read, this is by far the very best one.
Leadership Coaching is loaded with good coaching information from beginning to end. I can’t think of thing that is missing from this book for Christian coaching.
My copy is extensively highlighted. I copied out by hand all the highlighted sections, then I read the highlighted sections into a tape recorder. (Yes, I still have one of those ancient machines.)
Especially useful are the sections on the heart of a coach (which sound to me a lot like what every Christian, coach or not, should strive for), how to ask open-ended powerful questions, the list of basic coaching principles, how to examine s.m.a.r.t. goals and the list of sample powerful questions.
If you are a Christian life coach then this book is a must-have for you. I did this review from my own personal copy—this review was not part of any blogging for books program. I also don’t give out such high esteem for very many books, but this one truly deserved it in my opinion.
