Hmmm… I’m pretty sure I’ve tried avocado before, but I must say that I’m not a big fan. How does one start with avocado? How do you choose the yummiest piece and how do you store it? I sure am going to check some of the recipes to see whether or not something so healthy can also be delicious
Make sure the avocados are not mushy at the store. Then store at room temperature until just before they start to get soft, then store in fridge and eat up in a couple of days.
I am adverturing into the ‘new food’ arena. I have tried boy chok, asparagus and leets. I think I am ready to try avocado!

I haven’t tried Avocado in probably more than 10 years and I must admit I didn’t care for it all. I’ll have to check out some of the recipes listed to see if there is a way to hide the taste in order to receive the health benefits.
Definitely worth the effort!
Love avocado and can’t get enough! I know some people shun them because of the fat content, but it really is great nutritionally. It also works well as guacamole if people don’t like the avocado-only taste. Guacamole also has salsa/pico de gallo and cilantro as flavoring. Yummy!
